Dr. Han Raj served as Information System Officer and Head ICAR Library services. Possessed around 39 years of experience in various capacities in the field of Library and Information Science at National Documentation Centre of National Institutes of Health and Family Welfare (1982 to 1992) and Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi. (1993 to 2016) and also worked as consultant at ICAR in the Directorate of Knowledge Management of Agriculture, ICAR New Delhi (19th May 2016 to 18thMay 2017). And also worked as Advisor ICT and Library Services at Bihar Animal Sciences University, Patna from Jan 2018 to July 2021

He has handled successfully and associated with following NATP / NAIP library and information Science projects under National Agricultural Innovative Project (NAIP) under the aegis of World Bank. (1) Developing National Agricultural Research Database (NATP); (2) Strengthening of Digital Library and Information Management under NARS (eGranth) (NAIP); (3) Consortium of e-resources in Agriculture (CeRA)/ (NAIP); (4) AGROWEB (NAIP) and (5) E-publishing and Knowledge management Systems (NAIP).For his outstanding contributions in library and information science, particularly Agri-Librarianship AALDI-Life time Achievement Award-2021
