Currently working as Principal, School of Library & Information Science, Delhi Library Association. He graduated from the Department of Library and Information Science, University of Delhi.  He also did Ph.D. from the Department under the supervision of Prof. Krishan Kumar. He retired as Librarian from College of Vocational Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi in 2011.
