Mr. Narinder Singh Rawat is presently working in Hansraj College as Librarian. Prior to this, he has served in the Directorate of Education as School Librarian since the year 2000. Mr. Narinder Singh Rawat has been affiliated with different professional bodies and he actively participated in many library forums and delegations to raise the different issues of library professionals. Besides his professional commitments, he has been associated with many social, and religious organizations in Delhi and Uttrakhand. He has been pioneering the voice of socially deprived peoples. He has organized relief centers at the time of the Kedarnath disaster and also played a very remarkable role during tough COVID time by coordinating food distribution centers for needy people.

Mr. Narinder Singh Rawat has done his Graduation and Masters in Political Science from the University of Delhi. He is also a proud Alumnus of the Department of Library and Information Science having a BLISc and MLISc. He has also done Masters in Hindi and Masters's in Human Rights also. Mr.Narinder Singh Rawat is passionate about Nature and has written several notable poems depicting the vibrant colors of nature. He also has authored several articles relating to various Library issues. Mr. Rawat's contribution to the socio-economic field and his outstanding contributions to poor deprived people excel him prominently.
